Day 5, Rodeo.

There was quite a crowd waiting for the Rodeo bus. It was cold and blowing hard. Jan suggests we take the blanket from the car.  I balk, then acquiesce.  Thank goodness we took it.   Our seats were in the Buzzards Roost over the chutes.  Well named, we nearly froze.

Cody boasts that it holds a Rodeo every day in season.  They may have quantity, but not quality.  I know I could not perform any of the stunts, but of seven contestants in calf roping, only two completed the roping.

In the steer roping, not one even touched the steer. Most of the bucking steer riders barely made it out of the chute. The bronco riders fared better.

Everyone should see a rodeo, once.
